Caterham School
Electric Guitar Grade 4
I started out without being able to play a single chord and after 3 years i know consider myself a developed guitarist, all thanks to Damien Redmond. I also discovered that if you're ever stuck looking for somewhere new to go, look in the past and do what you did before in order to advance. In essence your future is in the past, so the answer to all your current problems are in your past.
Seb
My name's Seb, I'm currently attending Hayward's Heath college. I haven't done any exams but I was preparing for Grade 8 when I last had a lesson (as I taught myself the guitar for a while) which was about three months ago at this point. I would say I've enjoyed learning the guitar and that it was a much better use of my time than just playing video games

Great teacher, especially if you’re in a band. Perfect for jamming but you might forget about grades!
"Rob -
I've been taking bass lessons with Damien Redmond for just over two and a half years. I had been playing for a couple of years but not making much progress under my own steam. Through having regular hour-long sessions with Damien, and a structured programme 'bass-ed' around the RGT curriculum, I can see real progress in not only my playing but also my knowledge of musical theory. As a result, I've just passed with a distinction my grade 5 bass exam. Damien's always been an encouraging and considerate teacher - never pushing too hard, and willing always to explain when I just don't get something - and has created a good spirit among his pupils, of all ages, through regular sessions live in the studio."
